Wuuaa..Okaay.. i think its time to revive this blog..
cus im very free now. There's basically nothing much to do in this small quiet lil town, Ipswich.

*AIYO* baby just taupok-ed me.

Time check: 5.39 local time. (Its dark alr)
Temp check: 61 F

Either the weather's getting better or im getting fatter cus i dont feel as cold as i did on my 1st day here.
Speaking of 1st day..our 1st day here was beyond horrible.
Touched down at 9.40am local time. Sat in this small car with other students who were going to the St Lucia campus. So, we had to drop everyone of them off 1st before we headed to Ipswich. Which is this lil town our campus is located at. That took about 3 hours? because we reached our "chalet" at 12.20pm. And Barry was out. Barry is sort of the landlord la. but he doesnt stay here. And so we had to wait until about 1? anyways, thats not important la.

The horrible day started at about 4pm when we decided we should go into town to get necessaties and stuff and pillows and food.. Barry being a nice Aussie, drove us out to town. But being a not-so-smart Aussie, didnt know what bus we could take back to our "chalet", so he told us to take a cab back after we were done. Thats when all the trouble started. Fast forward to 7pm. We were both cold, hungry, tired and lost. And without a usable handphone. So after a very pek-cek time trying to activate the prepaid SIM we bought, we called Barry who was nice enough to come pick us up and send us back home.

And the troubles didnt end there. We attemped to heat up a pizza for dinner... And... the plastic disc melted in the oven. good job yu jin. =S
So our very nice housemate got help from his friends. Who helped us with everything else while we sat and watched TV.

So that basically summerizes the 1st horrible day here.

Okay. Internet connection here is so lousy. a huge chunk of what i just typed dissapeared.
Made friends with our nice housemate. He has been taking care of us like a nanny. hahaha.. yes he has really been a nice nanny to tc and me. Without him, i guess we would still be stuck here cus its really difficult getting around here. Transport system here is not very advanced thou its quite cheap to travel on public transport. Its a flat fee if we get a daily ticket which allows us on all modes of transport the WHOLE day! wooot! and we get 50% disc cus we're students!!
BUT taxi here is DAMN EXPENSIVE! the metre fare jumps every 5secs. 5 SECS! gosh. so if we were to take the taxi from brisbane city to ipswich, it would cost us about $100AUD!
so anyways, the pictures will do the rest. pictures speak a thousand words right? (:
